My mom arrived this past Friday to visit and I cannot tell you how great it has been to have her here experiencing all of this with me! Ashley's parents came to visit as well, and their trip was coming to an end around the time my mom arrived. Our parents arrival has been such a treat, but they came with treats for the kids as well. They packed their bags full of clothes for the kids that friends and family had donated. So on Friday, when we all went to our carepoint, all of the children were blessed with new clothes! It was a hectic day, with over a hundred kids showing up. Trying to size them all, and keep everyone in order was quite a task, but it was soo rewarding. The kids lit up as we handed them a new pair of underwear. Their appreciation for what we gave them was something I wish all of you could see! Each child was given underwear, and either a top and bottom, or a dress. They were also handed a toothbrush and toothpaste as they finished. It was incredible, and I would like to thank everyone that took part in donating, they really really loved it!
