Soni bononi!!
I have been here for over a month now, and I am really starting to feel like it is home to me! Its funny cuz my living space consists of my bed, and I get to use half of the floor beneath it for storage! Its crazy what you can get used to though!!! This week has been really good cuz I have started running with some friend every morning!! We only have time for about two miles, maybe a bit more, but it is soo nice to get out and move around!!
We have fallen into a pretty regular schedule. We have sessions in the morning until about eleven. This week was on spiritual disciplines, and we learning about the importance of prayer, worship, fasting, and other things. It was a good low-key week of teaching, which was nice to have after the intense weeks we have had.
This week we split up into permanent ministries for the remainder of our time in South Africa. I get to go to an orphanage twice a week and take care of babies. The babies there are so amazing, and have the most incredible stories. I get to hold the babies, feed tham and give them care and attention that they normally don’t get. There are a set of twins there, a boy and a girl. And the girl was born really pre-mature. It is crazy to look at the tow of them next to each other because at fur months the boy is pretty chubby for a baby, and the little girl looks like a small new born!
I have not decided what I am going to do for my other ministry the other two days of the week, but I may start doing street ministry in a squatter camp called Eskom. Street ministry is really neat cuz you get to form relationships with the people in the town. The people are really open to talking to you, and will follow you as you walk around town. We have gotten to know a good number of people in the town and are going to start having  biblestudies. It will be really neat to form deeper and deeper relationships with them, and walk with them as their faith grows.
