         Today (wed)  we had an amazing conversation with Alan’s mother, Nelly, and it was so great to see her eagerness and hunger to understand the Bible. We have seen a huge transformation in her since we met her, and it is so amazing! Today we talked a lot about how she could not follow Christ AND still go to the local witch doctor for help, and worship the ancestors. She was interested to see what the Bible had to say about it, and she actually removed the strings from her little baby’s belly (a common thing that people do to dedicate their kids to the ancestors) towards the end of our visit! PRAISE GOD! I am so excited to the plan that God has for Nelly and her family, especially for the baby who is now free from any spiritual strongholds.
          The next day (thurs) we continued to further our relationship with Nelly, and it was such a great time. She taught Chelsea and I to braid hair into twists! So we helped her braid hair for a few hours and chatted the entire time, it was so fun! After hanging out with Nelly, I spent the rest of our day in the Cresh (Preschool). It was CRAZINESS!!! The kids of Eskom are SOO CRAZY! I knelt down to tie a kids shoes, and the next thing I knew eight kids had jumped on my back, fallen over and started bawling! It was so crazy!
